Suddenly but peacefully at the Home of Compassion, Silverstream on Monday 13th January, 2014, aged 69.

Loved son of the late Vincent and Kathleen and brother to Rosalie, Christopher, Philippa and Gerard. Messages to "the O'Connell family" may be placed in Fr Brian's tribute book below or posted C/- PO Box 44-176 Lower Hutt.

Fr Brian's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill St, Thorndon on Friday, 17th January at 11am.

A Vigil Service will be held at the Home of Compassion, 237 Fergusson Drive, Heretaunga on Thursday 16th January at 7pm.
