Henley, Marjorie Joan (b. 1.4.1919) released her determined grip on life surrounded by her family at Kenepuru Hospital, 8.10.13, aged 94 years. Loved wife of Philip Percy Henley (deceased 7.12.03).

Dearly loved mother of Geoffrey, Margaret and John and their respective partners Helene, John and Joh.

Treasured grandmother and great-grandmother of David, Claire, Katie & Lucy; Megan, Benji & Thomas; Sarah, Gretchen, Gareth & Alice; Gary & Hadine, Carolyn, Toby, Cassie & Alice; William; Rebecca, Matthew, Claire & Hugo.

Her legacy will forever live within us all. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed as were her red cross parcels, Christmas cakes and shortbread.

Go gentle into that dark night.

A funeral service will be held at Ngaio Union Church, Cnr Crofton Rd and Kenya St, Ngaio on Friday 11 October 2013 at 10:30am and will be followed by a private cremation.
