POHLEN, Marie Alice (nee Pitcher) passed away suddenly at Wellington Hospital on the 8 September 2013, aged 87, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Brian, adored and cherished Mother and Mother-in-law of Philippa and Tom Nicolle, Paul and Nicola, Stephanie and James Sefton, Anne, Elisabeth and Joe Churchward and John and Cheryl. Loved Nana of Sean and Jo, Sam and Marea, James and Ashleigh, Anthony, David, Madeleine and Matt, Nick and Veronika, Emma and Richard, Luke, Sophie, Rodney and Chip and loved Nana Marie to her great grandchildren. Dearly loved daughter of Charles and Mary Pitcher, sister of Patricia (Galvin), and the late Veronica (Hargreaves).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wellington Free Ambulance.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Teresa's Church, 301 Karori Road, Karori on Friday 13 September at 11 am, followed by cremation. The rosary will be recited at the church on Thursday, 12 September at 6.30 pm.
