Sonny passed away at home surrounded by his family on 20 May 2013, aged 83 years.

Cherished husband of the late Aroha and loved husband and best friend of Maudie.

Loved father of Leslie & Pauline, Jill & Cork, Viv & Mike, Bev, Colin & Debbie.

Adored grandfather of Alice & Aaron, Brian & Naomi, Peter, Jo-Marie, Murphy, Lee, Willy, Jack, Lucy, Jacob and Harris.

Sonny will lie at Ngatokowaru Marae, Hokio Beach Road, Levin where a service will be held on Thursday 23 May at 11.00am followed by burial at the Family Cemetery.
