OATES, Shirley Anne (Weir, nee Boon) ~ Passed away on 1st April 2006 at Mary Potter Hospice. Loved daughter of the late Anne (Lawlor) and Tom Boon. Dearly loved mother and friend of Steve and Jo, and Keryn. Loved Nana of Pete and Kimberlee. Loved sister of Tom and Jan, and Frank (dec), aunty of Bryan, Nic and Ang.

She will be sadly missed by all, but at peace now.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Mary Potter Hospice and to Mr Michael Shields (Napier) for their care and attention.

A service for Shirley will be held at the Founders Chapel of Remembrance, 17 Rickit Street, Taupo, on Thursday, 6th April at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Cancer Society, PO Box 1695, Rotorua or Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Wellington would be appreciated or may be left at the service.
