On 1 August 2012 surrounded by his loving whanau at Levin Home for War Veterans, aged 89 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late May.

Much loved Dad and father in law of Lorraine (dec.), Lois and Errol, Linda and Billy (dec.), Sonny and Page, Sandra and Chris, Selina, Paul Taane, Elaine and Al, Aroha and Troy.
Treasured Grandad and great Grandad of all his mokos.
Loved son of the late Alfred and Martha and loving brother of all his deceased brothers and sisters.

Horace will lie at Wehi Wehi Marae, Main Road, Manakau followed by his service
On Saturday 4 August at 11am followed by burial at Manakau Cemetery.
