Of Otaki, passed away peacefully at Horowhenua hospital on 29th July 2012, surrounded by family, aged 87 years.

Much loved husband of Maria (Riet). Loving father and father in law of Jan and Gina, Peter and Annie, Jack, and Paul. Treasured Opa of Karl, Anita, Jolene, Eleanor, Roseanne, Melissa, Hayden, Tristan, Harry and loving great Opa.

Much loved brother, brother in law, uncle of all his family in Holland.

A celebration of Arie’s life will be held at Harvey’s Chapel Rangatira Street, Otaki on Thursday, August 2 at 11.00am followed by a private cremation at the Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin.

In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimers New Zealand would be appreciated and may be left at the chapel.
