On March 4 2012, aged 55, suddenly at Wellington Hospital, surrounded by his family and friends.

Adored husband and soul mate of Debra; Devoted and treasured Dad of Hannah, Adam, and Liam; Cherished son of Peg and the late George; Much loved son in-law of Bob and the late Betty; Dearly loved brother and brother in-law of Christine and Graham, Barbara and Murray, Murray and Julie, Peter and Sue, Steven and Selina; Much loved by all his nieces and nephews and extended family. Will be greatly missed by his many friends.

A Requiem Mass to celebrate Gordon's life will be held at Holy Cross Church, cnr Miramar Ave and Hobart St, Miramar, on Thursday 8 March at 11:00am, followed by private cremation.
