On 20 January 2012, aged 85 years.

Loved husband of the late Rosemary. Loved father and father in law of Clive, Alison, David, Pru, Quentin and Cate. Loved friend of Jenny Button and loved grandfather of Andrew, Hamish, Mark, Angus, David, Tim, Ben, Peter, Adam, Rebecca and Olivia.

Special thanks to all the staff of Ward 5 South, Wellington Hospital for their care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington City Mission would be appreciated and may be left on the day of the service or posted to PO Box 13-383 Johnsonville, Wellington.

A service for Ian will be held at St Mary’s Anglican Church, cnr Karori Road and Fancourt Street, Karori on Wednesday 25 January 2012 at 2:00pm followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.
