Died peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice, surrounded by family and friends, age 66 years.

A dearly loved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and uncle.

He will be sorely missed.

John is survived by his wife Caryl, his children Katrina, Daniel (Northern Territories Aus.) and Owen, his Mother Eunice, Sister Kathleen (Auckland) and Brother Laurence (BC, Canada).

At last the battle is over, you have earned your reward, Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church of Our Lady of Grace, cnr Fergusson Dr & Palmer Cres, Heretaunga, Wellington on Friday January 13, 2012 at 1:00pm thereafter interment at Akatarawa Cemetery, RSA section.

The rosary will be recited in the above church on Thursday evening at 7pm.
