BARRETT, George William
Of Paraparaumu, formerly of Khandallah. On December 23rd 2011, peacefully, at Metlifecare Coastal Villas, after a short illness. Aged 94 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Ruth. Much loved and precious father and father-in-law of Jennifer & Ross Hodges (Paraparaumu), Elizabeth & Andy West (Paraparaumu), Suzanne (deceased), Paul & Ricky Barrett (Melbourne), Mary & Larry Pritchard (West Virginia), Anthony & Irene Barrett (Christchurch), and Patrick & Christine Barrett (Christchurch). Beloved Grandpa of Vivienne, Rachael, Kevin, Stuart, Frances, Catherine, Michael, Rebecca, Gerard, David, Jason, Carl, Anna-Marie, Dominique, and Bernadette, and Great-Grandpa of Emma, Samantha, Hayden, Anaru, Christopher, and Archie.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu, at 10.30am on Wednesday, 28 December, to be followed by interment at Awa Tapu Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations for Wellington Free Ambulance, PO Box 601, Wellington 6140 would be appreciated and may be left at the Church.
