Peacefully at Mary Potter Hospice on 14 December 2011 surrounded by family.

Dearly loved husband of Anita. Loving and respected father of Kim, Dixie-Lee and Edon. Father-in-law of Sean Walker. Much loved granfather of only grandson Edon Hoppener. Loved brother of Sonja Hoppener. Loved by his nephews Gary and Robbie Coulter, Wayne Evans and Robbie Jennings and nieces Candy and Deanna Evans.

Messages to the Hoppener family may be left in John's tribute book below or sent C\- 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville .

In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Funeral Mass will be held at Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Dr Taylor Terrace, Johnsonville on Monday 19th December 2011 at 12:30pm followed by interment at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
