Imrie, Faye Christine (Chris), nee Clements, after a long illness peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday January 15th at the Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt. Eldest daughter of Lorraine Clements (Paraparaumu) and the late Fred (Fud). Loving wife and friend to Dave and most loving and caring mum to Andrew, Kerith and Fraser. Dear sister and sister-in-law to David and Nora Clements (Auckland), Alan and Tina Clements (Tauranga), Denise and Kevin Tunnell (Masterton), Janice Kent (Taradale), Ian and Ali Imrie (Ngatea). Loved daughter-in-law to Isla. Aunt to Calvin, Stuart, Katrina and Vicki Clements (Auckland), Kieran and Kate Clements (Tauranga), Natalie and Anton Tunnell (Masterton), Kylie and Ryan Kent (Taradale), Stacy Kent (Mt. Maunganui), Callum and Nicholas Imrie (Ngatea). Niece of Bruce and Shirley Purdey (Waikanae). Cousin to Graham, Geoffrey, Kay and Janet Purdey.

Loving friend and colleague of so many nurses, doctors and staff of Hutt Hospital.

Chris, you touched the hearts of so many people, you were a nurse to the end – the long day is over hon, now it’s your turn to rest.

In lieu of flowers donations to Te Omanga Hospice, P O Box 30-814, Lower Hutt or the Cancer Society, 52 Riddiford St, Newtown would be most greatly appreciated.

A service to celebrate her life and mourn her passing will be held at ‘The Rock’, Glover Street, Ngaraunga Gorge on Friday 20th January at 11:00am to be followed by private cremation at Harbour City Crematorium, Kilbirnie.
