On November 10, 2011, at Cashmere View Hospital, peacefully after a short illness, in his 80th year.

Beloved husband of Anna for 56 years, much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Fran and Brian Hogan, Ingrid and partner David, Edwin and Karen, Richard, and Martin, treasured opa of all his grandchildren and great granchildren.
