Of Masterton, previously of Hastings - on October 10 2011, peacefully after a short illness, at Glenwood Masonic Hospital Masterton. Aged 86.

Dearly loved husband of Dulcie. Much loved father and father-in-law of Margaret and Ross Craig (Carterton), Matthew and Katy McLean (Auckland), Barbara and Tony Scarfe (Carterton). Dearly loved grandad of Sarah Preece and Rob, Jenni and Alex, David and Monica; Graeme and Kate, Frances and Matthew, and Helen; Katherine, and Alistair, great grandad of Mika. Loved brother of the late Trixie Thornburrow and the late Helen Thornburrow.

A service to give thanks for Bill's life will be held at The Anglican Church of The Epiphany, High Street Masterton on Friday October 14 at 10.30am followed by interment at Clareville Cemetery.
