Gwatkin, Jean - On October 10, 2011 at Wellington Regional Hospital after a short illness, aged 91 years.

Wife of Evan and most dearly loved mother of Gerri and Colin Strevens, and Lindy and the late Kevin Hastings. Loved Nandy of Mark, Rachel, Isobella and Finn Howman (Brisbane), Peter and Jean, Tim (Amsterdam), and treasured Nan of Nicholas Hastings.

You lived your life to the full, and helped so many along the way. A lady ahead of her time - you did it your way Mum! Our love will be with you always.

Jean's funeral service will be held at the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn St & Onepu Rd, Kilbirnie, on Friday 14 October 2011 at 11:00am, followed by private cremation
