Peacefully at Huntleigh Home and Hospital, Wellington on 10 September 2011. Aged 88 years.

Loved daughter of the late Michael and Honoria. Loved sister of Helen, John and the late Marie. Grand aunt of Carol, Diane, Christopher, Ralph and Great grand aunt of Zoe, Cara, Brendan, Stephen, Maree, Martin, Glen, Louise, Benny, Maxim and Sasha.

Irene's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Hill Street, Thorndon, Wellington on Friday 16 September 2011 at 12pm, thereafter interment at Karori Cemetery.
