GORRIE, Daniel Lawrence

Passed away in Brisbane on the 12th August 2011, aged 34.

Cherished eldest son of Sue and the late Steve. Dearly loved brother and best mate of Mat, Joe and Chris. Treasured grandson of Janet and the late Lawrie Gorrie and Russell and Rose Whitaker.

In Dan’s 34 years he created a life that was packed with some amazing people who loved him. He was a free spirit and knew how to leave an imprint of himself in all our hearts. We know he will always be remembered in many wonderful ways and now he is at peace with his Dad. In Steve’s own words he was "the apple of his eye."

Now your spirit is free Dan you will know true peace.

Dan will be sadly missed by all his Aunties and Uncles and his many cousins.

A service for Dan will be held in Kingswood, cnr King and Cairo Streets, Upper Hutt, on Tuesday 23 August 2011, at 2pm, followed by private cremation at Akatarawa.
