at Hutt Hospital on the 6th August 2011 aged 92 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Esme, much loved father of Eleanor and Laks Wirasinha, Margaret and Greg Smith, Robert and the late Pauline Jenkin, and Anne Taylor; loved grandad of Tania, Suren, Conal, Eldon, Maire, Katy and Carle (deceased), Kristin, Beth, and Jonathan; and great grandfather of Tatjana, Joel, Tamon, Alice, Ruan, Ada, Imran, Henry, Ayaan, and Nina; dearly loved brother of Sylvia and the late Lloyd and Owen.

A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at St. Peter's Church, cnr Willis and Ghuznee Streets, Wellington on Wednesday 10th August 2011 at 2:00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Ian will be at his home, 48 Pomare Road, Belmont, Lower Hutt, from Monday onwards.
