Peacefully at Mt Victoria Life Care on Saturday 16th July 2011 aged 78 years.

Dearly beloved son of the late Frederick Schmidt and the late Sovita Tago. Loved brother of Paul, Chanel, Jack Peseta, Leaula Gus, Serah, Henry, Edmund, Clotilde (all deceased), Mary, Bismarck, Philip and Loretta. Loved by all his nephews, nieces, cousins, and families both in Samoa and New Zealand.

Special thanks to Father Barry Scannel and Sister Francis for your prayers and for taking communion to Uncle, and also to the wonderful staff of Mt Victoria Life Care for their love and care.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of St Mary's of the Angels, 17 Boulcott Street, Wellington on Wednesday 20th July, 2011 at 10.00am followed by burial at Makara cemetery.
