On July 15, 2011, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, in his 91st year.

Much loved husband of Jean, loving father of Anna, Lydia, Allan, Keren, Jenny, and Yoko. Much loved papa of Jacob, Sarah, and Frances; Deeper, and Ben; Timothy; Oliver; and Jonny; and great -grandpapa of Finlay, Freya, Riley, and Thomas. Loved father-in-law of George, Richard, Simon, and Warwick. Loved brother of Maurice and a loved uncle of Ben, Maggie, and Michael.

Flowers respectfully declined but in memory of Bryan, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated and may be made at the Memorial Service.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Avonhead Park Cemetery, Hawthornden Road, on Monday, July 18, at 11.00am, followed by a Celebration of Bryan's life in the Christchurch North Methodist Church, corner of Harewood Road and Chapel Street, Papanui, on Tuesday, July 19, at 10.00 am.
