PORTER Shirley Ellen (nee Thomson) of Shannon.

Suddenly, but peacefully slipped away on Sunday 26th June at Palmerston North Hospital surrounded by her loving family, aged 76 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Robert (Gordon) Porter, precious mother and mother-in-law of Warren and Ayleen Porter (Shannon), Dianne and Barry Gallagher (Christchurch), and cherished Nana of Robert, Elyse, James and Ryon.

The family would like to say a special thanks to all the staff on Wards 27 and 29 at the Palmerston North Hospital.

A service for Shirley will be held at The Venerable Bede Anglican Church, Stout Street, Shannon on Friday 1st July at 2.00pm followed by private cremation .

Shirley will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
