Murdoch Bill
Born Yorkshire 14 March 1915, formerly of Johnsonville.
In his 97th year Bill quietly took his last breath on Saturday 25th June 2011, in the care of the team at Rita Angus.

Married to the late Freda for 63 love and adventure filled years. Loved father and father in law of Trish and the late Conor McBride, Jane and Bob Reynolds, and Phillipa and Bernard Molloy. Entertaining “Grandpa Bill” of his 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Donations for Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service in recognition of the support given to Phillipa and Bill in the last weeks of his life.

At Bill’s request a Requiem Mass will be held at the Church of Ss Peter and Paul, Dr Taylor Terrace, Johnsonville on Friday 1 July, 2011 at 11am to honour and celebrate his life. Bill will then be buried at Whenua Tapu Cemetery.
