Peacefully on Sunday 3 April 2011 at Wellington Regional Hospital. In his 89th year.

Loved father of David and Christine. Loved grandfather of Antony and Lorren. Father-in-law of Louis and long time loved companion of Gloria.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance, PO Box 601, Wellington would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

A service to celebrate the life of Sam will be held in the Cockburn Street Chapel, cnr Cockburn Street and Onepu Road, Kilbirnie on Friday 8 April at 10.30am, thereafter private cremation.
