McARTNEY, Peter Allen
Peacefully at home on Friday 18 March 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer – aged 61.

Treasured husband of Jill. Much loved Dad and father-in-law of Alana & Hayden Corney, and Belinda and her partner Brayden Rawlinson. Dearly loved son of Mary & the late Allen McArtney (Paraparaumu) and respected son-in-law of the late Dorothy and the late Noel Cameron. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Russell & Margaret McArtney (Lower Hutt), Dave & Gill Hogg (Paraparaumu), Murray & Jan Willis (Great Barrier Island), and Barry & Robyn Cameron (Sydney), and much loved uncle of Kevin McArtney (Scotland), Mike McArtney (Sydney), Pat Hogg (Wanganui), Susie Hogg (Paraparaumu) and Natalie and Elise Cameron (Sydney).

Rest peacefully, Pete – you deserve it.

A celebration of Pete’s life will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu on Tuesday 22 March 2011 at 2pm, to be followed by interment at Awa Tapu Cemetery, Valley Road, Paraparaumu.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mary Potter Hospice, Kapiti would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to PO Box 460, Paraparaumu 5254.
