Peacefully at home on Saturday 5 March 2011, aged 88 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Peter

Much loved mother and mother in law of Stephen (London), Felicity and Murray Maihi (Rongotea), Timothy and Nichola (Lyttleton), Matthew and Judith (New Plymouth), Richard and Gemma (United Arab Emirates), Mary and Allan (Wellington), Anne (Wellington) and Jennifer (Yokohama). Loving Grandma of her 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Requiem Mass for Val will be celebrated at the Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception, Miranda Street, Stratford on Tuesday 8 March 2011 at 11.00am prior to her being laid to rest at Kopuatama Cemetery.
Rosary will be prayed in the church on Monday evening at 5.30pm.
