Suddenly at his home on 8 January 2011, aged 77 years.

Beloved husband and best friend of Margaret for 52 years.

Adored father of Kate & Paul (Invercargill), Alison (Melbourne), and Hilary (Sydney).

Special Grandpa to Emma, Claire & Ryan, Lucy, Rebecca, Chris, Hamish, Sarah, Nicholas, Rhiannon and Duncan.

Loved brother of Bernice & David (Dorset, UK).

Barrie will be at Raukawa Marae, Mill Road Otaki, from 11.00am Thursday 13th January prior to a funeral service to be held at All Saint’s Anglican Church, Te Rauparaha Street, Otaki commencing at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin.

In lieu of flowers donations to The Friends of Otaki River would be appreciated and may be left at the Church.
