Loving husband of the late Shirley. Loved father and father-in-law of Susan and Mark (Auckland), Stephen and Joy (Masterton), David (Auckland), and Arthur (Australia). Beloved Grandad of Patricia, Kirsty, Blair, and Curtis; Leila, and Jody, and loved great grandfather.

A service to celebrate Al's life will be held at Lansdowne Presbyterian Church, Totara Street, Masterton, on Wednesday 8 December at 11.00 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations in Al's memory can be made to the Royal NZ Foundation of the Blind - Guide Dogs, sent to Private Bag 99941, Newmarket, Auckland 1149 or left at the service.
