Passed away at home in his 76th year.

Dearly loved husband of Hiria (dec'd) and loved partner of Pearl Waima Smith (dec'd).

Dennis is survived by his children Tracey, Clare, Anahera & Patrick, and five grandchildren.

Loved brother of John Higgins (dec'd), and Allan (dec'd) & Edith MacKinnon, and uncle of Cathy Nicols, Heather and Andrew MacKinnon.

Dennis will be lying in state at Clare & Trish's home in Tawa from 3.30pm today

A service to farewell Dennis will be held at The Wilson Funeral Home, 375 Adelaide Rd, Newtown on Thursday, 4 November 2010 at 2pm, followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.
