Peacefully on 28April 2010. In his 90th year.

Very much loved husband of Gladys, also of the late Beatrice and Olive.
Much loved father and father in law of Steve and Joyce (Portsmith, UK)
Mary & the late Rob Braithwaite (Wgtn) Robin and Sandra Donmall (Lower Hutt)
Sandra and Nicky Veale (Cornwell, England).

Wonderful Grandad of Matthew, Sarah, Kiri, Helen, Carlie, and Marcus.
A dedicated police and security officer in the UK and NZ for over 30 years.

A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at Harvey’s Chapel, Rangatira Street, Otaki on Monday 3 May at 1.30pm followed by private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Waikanae SPCA would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
