Marcus "chops" van Veen skipped out on us, 1st October 2009.

Beloved and cherished by his wife Emma van Veen, Algy van Veen, Snap van Veen, and nephew rubbish boy Raf, Golly but left behind by Solly, Nana Nansett, Yvonne and Cor van Veen, Paul van Veen, Justin van Veen, Rowena van Veen, John and Di Litton, Tim Litton & Julie Robinson, Dave Litton, Will Litton, Jonty & Finn Litton and Lisa Litton, Ang & Dave Strand, and Rufus.

Along with all the friends that are loved, the extended whanau.

Marcus' funeral will be held at Grange Gordon's property; 310 South Karori Rd, Karori at 8.45am Thursday 8th October. Please join Marcus there to celebrate him in his entirety.

The tribute book below is for you also to write anything you would like say, or sing. May it be a word, a poem, a verse or a book (in true Marcus fashion), please feel free to pass on your messages here.

In helping Emma and others make sense of what has happen, Emma will be putting together a journal of events leading to the event. If anyone saw Marcus' Truck on Tuesday morning or met with him, can they please provide details to Emma in person or via email - ameliorate@paradise.net.nz. We know that he didn't come directly home after leaving me that morning (approximately 8.45am). He arrived sometime after 9.30am.
Emma also would like to talk to anyone who, again, saw his Truck or spoke with him the week prior.
