Passed away peacefully on 10 June 2009 at Te Whanau Ora Rest Home (formerly of Paekakariki).

Dearly loved husband of Ruth and the late Millicent Matamanewa Wilcox.

Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Aroha & Jeff (Papakura), Louise and Jimmy (Papakura), Charles Jnr (dec) & Amiria (Otaki), Joanne & Tom (Porirua), Maurice & the late Torchy (Titahi Bay), Trisha & Vern (Paekakariki), Annette & Mark (Sydney), Linda & Troy (Perth) and Stepdad to Carolyn Watkins (Sydney), Jimmy (Waikanae), and Christine (Raumati).

Dearly loved Papa and Great Grandfather to his many moko’s.

The tears we shed for you are tears of joy, not sadness.
Your presence will be sadly missed Dad but your loving memory will live on forever. Until we meet again.

Charles will lie at Ngati Wehi Wehi Marae, Manakau, followed by a service at the Rangiatea Church, Te Rauparaha Street, Otaki on Saturday 13th June at 11.00am and thereafter interment at the Garden of Eden Urupa, Otaki.
