On 24 January 2009 peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on the eve of his 79th birthday.

Much loved husband of Judy.

Loving father and father in law of Chris and Joanne, Jenny, Graham and Mary, Sue and Christina, and Phillipa.

Loved Grandad of Rachel, Timothy, Hannah, Caroline, Kate, and Stewart.

Loved brother of Rosemary, Michael & Alyson.

Many thanks to the District Nurses, Arohanui Hospice and the many friends and family that have given support throughout Gordon’s illness.

A celebration of Gordon’s life will be held at St Marys Anglican Chuch, Cambridge Street, Levin on Wednesday 28 January at 2.30pm, thereafter private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
