Died suddenly but peacefully on 2 January 2009. Aged 71 years.

Loving husband and best friend of Marie, loved and devoted father and father in law of Philippa and Barry, Ro and Steve, Mike and Yvonne, Rebecca (dec) Matt and Katie, Gerard, Bridget and Tony, Johnny, Ana-Therese, Antonia and Seb.
Proud grandfather of Nathan and Nic, Tash, Varshti, Josh, Evania, Braeden, India, Cullen, and grandchild-to-be. Rest peacefully.

A Vigil service will be held at St Josephs Catholic Church, Weraroa Road, Levin on Tuesday 6 January at 7pm, followed by a Requiem Mass at 2pm on Wednesday 7 January, thereafter burial at The Avenue Cemetery Levin.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Caritas Aoteraroa and may be left at the service.
