EDWARDS, Sylvia Daphne Joy (nee Olsen)

Peacefully on September 3 in Dunedin with her son Stephen beside her, after a courageous fight with cancer, aged 72 years young.

Beloved wife of the late Venerable Stuart Edwards, Adored mother & mother in law of David & Clare, Stephen & Suzanne, Maria & Steve Cretney, Angela & Dave Kinch. Cherished grandmother of Nicole & Andrew, Dexter & Aimee, Michael & Abigail Cretney and Madison Kinch. Also much loved cousin of John Sahlberg (Australia).

Special thanks to Judith Bylett for caring for Sylvia in her last weeks.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Cancer Society of NZ P.O. Box 13450 Christchurch would be appreciated and can be left in the church foyer.

A service to celebrate Sylvia's life will be held at St Marks Church, Opawa Rd, Christchurch 2.00pm Wednesday 10th September 2008 followed by private cremation.
