on 28th August 2008, peacefully at Matamata Country Lodge. In his 96 year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Edith and much loved father and father-in-law of Mary & Basil Freegard (Matamata), Don & Elizabeth (Hamilton), Alan & Carolyn (Vic. Aust), John & Lorraine (Matamata), Ethel & the late Roy (UK) and Paul & Prue (Masterton). A loved and respected Grandad of 16 grandchildren & Great Grandad of 10 great grandchildren.
Now resting beside Mum, until the Resurrection.

A celebration of Alan's life will be held at The 7th Day Adventist Church, Cnr
Shakespeare & Browning Sts, Leamington on Tuesday 2nd September at 11.00 am followed by interment in the Hamilton Park Cemetery, Newstead.

Donations in lieu of Flowers would be welcome for the Waikato Division of the Cancer Society, PO Box 134, Hamilton East & may be left at the service.
