HUGHES Ronald Joseph (Ron) BEM Reg. No. 785751 Staff Sgt. NZ Army - of Shannon; On June 18th 2008 peacefully at Arohanui Hospice Palmerston North surrounded by his family.

Wife and soulmate of Barbara. Loving and respected father to Cameron and Pam (Alexandra), Duncan and Karyn (Nelson), Heydyn and Jo (Levin), Kendyl and Allan Hansen (Shannon), Heidi Smith (Shannon). Loved Garr of all his grandchildren.

Many thanks to all the District Nurses, and Arohanui Hospice staff for their comfort and support.

A tribute maybe placed in Ron's tribute book below.

A service for Ron will be held at St Martin's Chapel, Linton Army Camp, Camp Road Linton on Monday June 23rd 2008 at 2:00pm thereafter private cremation at Horowhenua Crematorium, Levin.

In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
