Born Chalcedon, 1916.

A funeral to celebrate the life of Metropolitan Dionysios will be held at the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary, Hania Street, Mt Victoria on Wednesday January 9, 2008 at 11:00am, followed by a burial at the Makara Cemetery.

A Vigil will be held at St Andrew's Chapel, 365 Broadway, Miramar on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm.

Donations to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of NZ and may be left at the service.
