On March 14, 2026, peacefully at Glenwood Masonic Hospital, Masterton, in her 91st year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Douglas Edwin King. Much adored and loved Mum of Dianne and Nick, Brent and Angela (deceased), Lance and Margaret, Malcolm and Lisa. Much loved Nana to her 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Loved daughter of Leonard and Joyce Irwin (nee Clifford - sadly died as a young mother), and loved sister of Garry (all deceased). Loved stepdaughter of Lyndsay Irwin (nee Gillon) (deceased), stepsister of Anthony, Jeffrey (deceased), Elizabeth, and Craig (deceased).
Loved niece of the late Frederick, Olive, Violet, and Florence Irwin. Is a descendent of the Plew/Irwin line.
Loved granddaughter of the late Arthur and Winnifred Clifford (nee Smith), niece of Nyola Warnes (nee Clifford) and Russell Clifford, (both deceased), loved cousin of Pam Peake, and Geraldine Peterkin. Is a descendent of the Clifford/Mount line.
Loved daughter-in-law of the late Laurence and Mary King and sister-in-law of the late Laurie and June King. Loved Aunty of Fiona, Melanie, and Louise King.
