In Loving Memory of Denise Margaret Doyle (née Mooney)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Margaret Doyle, aged 78, on 17 November 2025 at Mary Potter Hospice in Wellington.
Born in Stamullen, County Meath, Ireland, Denise moved to Rotorua, New Zealand in 1967, where she dedicated her life to caring for others as a specialist District Nurse. Her compassion and professionalism touched countless lives.
Denise was the beloved wife of the late Dermot Doyle and a devoted mother to Mark and Bobby. She is survived by her sister Olive (Jersey), her brother David (Dublin), and her cherished nieces and nephews: Laura, Nadia, Hannah, Michael, Daniel, John, Adam, Lou, and Carol.
She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and her love of gardening—a passion that brought her joy and peace throughout her life. Denise also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Teddy Girl, who was her constant companion and source of comfort.
