MERCIA CLARE CLARKE (nee Hickey) On October 23, 2025 at Waikanae Lodge, formerly of Miramar & Kapiti.

Peacefully and surrounded by family, aged 95. Dearly loved by her large extended family - Ian, Geraldine & Mike, Bernadette, Rob & Anne, Ginny & Murray, Marie, Jaqs, Steve & Lindy, Dahna, David & Tanya, Mike, Katie, Libby, Maddie, Angela, Gregory, Naomi, Anthony, Joseph, Hannah, Max, Claudia, Jack, Adie, Sophie, Lily, Ella, Josh and her many great grandchildren. Sister of Kate and the late Eileen, Gerald & Patrick, sister-in-law of Judith, Dorita & Joan and cousin of Delta. Loved aunt of her many nieces & nephews.

Mercia was dearly loved & will be greatly missed.

Mercia’s life will be celebrated on Wednesday 29th October at 11am with a Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Kapiti Church, 1 Presentation Way, Paraparaumu. The service will be followed by a private cremation.

Grateful thanks to the wonderful staff of Waikanae Lodge for their loving care of our mum. Their kindness & attention to mum and our family were exceptional.
