OH, Lusiana Emi Frances, DOLC (Sr Marie Frances). Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on the 2nd of September, 2025. Beloved member of the Sisters of Compassion for 49 years in NZ and Chanel Home of Compassion, Suva, Fiji. Loved daughter of the late Oh Kam Hin and Laiseana Oh. Much loved sister and sister in law of the late Anasimeci and Norman Low, Temara and Graham Presland (dec), Vuata and Myra Oh (dec), Timaleti and Joe Chung (dec) and Melania and Steve Yam. A cherished aunt to her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her in New Zealand and Fiji. A Vigil will be held at Our Lady’s Home of Compassion Chapel, 2 Rhine St, Island Bay on Monday 8th September at 6pm. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the same Chapel on Tuesday 9th September at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
