KASOULIDES, Panagiota (Penny) - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Panagiota, lovingly known as Penny, on the 26th of August 2025 in Wellington, NZ. Penny went peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.

Born in Cyprus on the 6th of September 1957, Penny lived a life embedded in love and devotion to her family, friends, the community, and the beautiful families which she was a proud Nanny to, some of whom called her their second mum.

A proud mother, yiayia, wife, and nanny; she cherished family, community, culture and religion as the foundation of a meaningful life.

Her warmth, kindness, peaceful and loving spirit touched all who knew her.

Cherished daughter of the late Christoforo and Andriani Eleftheriades. Beloved sister of Panagioti, Apostolo, and Andreas missing in battle since 1974, and twin sister of Sofia. Adored aunty of Christoforo, Vicky, Stelio, and Andri. All of whom are based in Cyprus. Proud Godmother of her nieces Eirinie and Areti, and also of Louka, who was Christened by her son Christoforo.

Penny was the beloved wife of Stelio for 48 years, devoted mother to Spiro, Andreas, and the late Christoforo, and adored yiayia to Achillea and Orphea.

Penny will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Penny joins the spirit of her cherished son, Christoforo, in heaven.

Penny's funeral service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, "O Evangelismos tis Theotokou" (Annunciation of the Birth giver of God),, 3 Hania Street, Mount Victoria on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at 10:00am thereafter interment at Makara Cemetery. followed by refreshments at the Greek Community Centre, 5 Hania St.
