It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved grandmother, Liz (Sharifah) Aeriza McCormack, on 15 June 2025 at Lower Hutt Hospital.

Born in Kuala Lumpur on 20 April 1950, she was a treasured daughter of Sharifah Sariah Arnold, and a devoted wife to Paul for 41 years. She was a proud mother to Charlene and Rachael, and the most loving grandmother and great-grandmother to her 14 grandies.

Liz will be remembered for her kind heart, wicked sense of humour, her love of people and socialising, her love of trivia, secretly sneaking chocolate and lollies to all of her grandchildren and the how her door was always open to anyone who needed somewhere to go.. or something to eat.

Her strength, grace, and unwavering love shaped generations and will continue to guide all those she came across in her life.

A service to celebrate her life was held at Upper Hutt Cossie Club on 19 July 2025 at 10am. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.
