Patel, Gulabbhai Somabhai


Gulabbhai Somabhai peacefully passed away on the 27th of January 2025.

Dearly loved husband of Rekhaben, the son of the late Somabhai Budhia and Maniben Somabhai of Kasbapar, and the son-in-law of the late Bhanabhai Karsanbhai and Sukhiben Bhanabhai. He was a treasured dad to Chirag, Shivani, and pet Mia. Gulabbhai was also a loved brother and brother-in-law to Chhimabhai and Ramilaben, the late Nanubhai and Neetaben, Thakorbhai and Madhuben, Kamlaben and Dineshbhai, Bharatbhai and Bhanuben, Umeshbhai and Kalpanaben, and Bhikhubhai and Paruben.

Gulabbhai was a beloved, generous, and treasured friend to many, and he will be dearly missed.

Special thanks to the Wellington and Bowen Hospital Oncology doctors and District Nurses for their care and support of Gulabbhai over the last 7 years.

A funeral service to celebrate Gulabbhai's life will be held at the Bharat Bhavan Centre, 48 Kemp St, Wellington on Thursday 30th January 2025. You are welcome to come and pay your respects from 10:30am. The service will start at 11:00am, followed by a private cremation.

Family visiting times this week will be on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
