Maureen passed away peacefully on 2 October 2024 after a long illness.

She was the wife of the late Derek Sole and loved stepmother and stepmother in law to David and Erin, Jeremy and Fiona, Elizabeth and Tim and to her grandchildren.

Maureen is survived by Peter and Kaye Hines, Thea and Andy Parker, and her grand nieces and nephew Niall Hines in the UK.

At Maureen’s wishes a private cremation was held and there will be a small memorial gathering at a time to be advised.

Maureen has asked that no flowers be sent and in lieu, a donation be made to the Mary Potter Hospice online at www.marypotter.org.za
