Aroha mai, Aroha atu /love received, love returned

With great sorrow, the Dibley family announce the peaceful passing of Cherry Elspeth Dibley on 27th of September 2024. Born 11 February 1935.

Cherry was the beloved wife of Carl, mother, grandmother, friend to many and community member in Rotorua. For her family, she embodied manaakitanga, sharing her hospitality, kindness and time with many people in the community.

We would love to thank the staff at Winara who helped make Cherry's transition peaceful and graceful.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dementia New Zealand.

The funeral will take place at Harbour City Funeral Home, 300 Kapiti Road, Paraparaumu. on Wednesday at 12.30pm.
