Barry Williams

Beloved husband and best friend of Sally, fiercely devoted father to Vanessa and Frith, and dearly cherished member of the ‘Magnificent Seven’, passed away comfortably and surrounded by loving family on 11 August, aged 73. He never lost his optimism and maintained his famous positive spirit to the last, enjoying a joke and a giggle. Barry’s bottomless generosity, kindness, love, and sense of humour will remain forever in the hearts of the very many lives he touched.

A huge thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Mary Potter Hospice in Newtown who cared for Barry with unwavering kindness, compassion, and dignity.
