Peacefully after a short illness at Palmerston North Hospital.

Loved husband of Joan.
Loved father of Rod and Pat, Dallas and Roger Gates, Marilyn Galletly, and Brian.
Also loved grandfather to Paul (dec), Lisa, Shayne, Karina, Selena, Deane, Wayne, Andrew, Rawinia, and all his 15 great grandchildren.
