Grandfather of Kyle and Jessica Baird, Hamish and Sarah Baird, Heather and Aaron Dekker, Virginia Baird, Sean Purdy and Scott Purdy.

Great grandfather of Joshua, Benjamin, Esther, Roger and Arthur.

A memorial service for Barry will be held on 22 June at 11am at the Harbour City Cockburn St chapel.

A private cremation has been held in Auckland.
